Description: In a joint effort to promote Mental Health Awareness month, DHFS Secretary Kevin Hayden and DPI Secretary Burmaster, will introduce and stress the importance of Youth Suicide Prevention and the importance of the DPI Suicide Prevention curriculum. The curriculum was developed as a partnership between DHFS/DPI and their partners. This webcast will provide a brief introduction to the Suicide Prevention curriculum during a 60-minute training on the modules. In addition, this webcast also promotes Children's Mental Health Awareness Week (May 7-13) and suicide prevention resources.
